Kim Von Martin Interview Continued
Ming: What pick up lines have men used on you?  Were any directed towards your Asian ethnicity?  How did you feel about the pick-lines?

Kim: They always ask me what nationality I am. Usually they think I'm Hawaiian or Latin. Guys use pick up lines of what shampoo do you use? If you are going to use a pick up line. Make sure it's original.

Ming: What should a man not use as a pick-up line?

Kim: I hate when guys called me Oriental. Oriental is a rug or a piece of furniture.

Ming: What makes a man sexy?

Kim: A sexy man is someone intelligent, makes me laugh, has a nice smile, carries himself well when he walks into a room. Like Sean Connery!

Ming: Should a man pick up a woman at her place for dates?

Kim:  Sometimes a guy should pick up a woman at her place. I have a doorman so he pages me and I come down from my apartment. Sometimes it's good for them to meet you out at the restaurant so if you don't want to give him a second date.

Ming: Who should pay for the dates?  Would you go dutch?

Kim: NO way do I believe in going Dutch! Men should always pay for the whole entire date. I was brought up the old fashion way. Those are little boys.

Ming: What do you think about during photoshoots?

Kim: Honestly, during the begining of the photoshoot I'm worried about my makeup and what outfit I'm going to wear. After 4 outfits I'm wondering when the shoots over so I can go to McDonald's.

The End

Ming Where do you go to meet guys?

Kim: I meet guys everyone. Bookstores, walking my dogs, everywhere.

Ming: Please describe your dating experiences.

Kim: I really don't like to date. Usually, on the first date I can tell if I'm going to give them a second date. Dating should be like going out with a friend.  Don't try too hard and just be yourself.

Ming: What experiences do you have with men with the "Asian fetish".  Do you think Asian women are different so that men need to be aware of certain things about Asian cultures in order to have successful relationships with Asian women?  Please describe.

Kim: It's true that men love asian women but sometimes I hear guys say "I've dated a black or Asian woman before."  It's like we are an experience but they end up marrying a blonde. I hate when guys think I'm going to sit home and wait for them. Like a geisha girl. I'm part Irish also. HAHA!  I think all women are the same.  Men should just be on there best behavior. Women all have different cultures how they were brought up. But, that's why in a relationship you learn from each other. That's the fun of it.

Ming: How should a man approach you?
Kim: Be sweet and himself. I hate guys who try to hard, act macho, and lies.
